3. How does delivery work?
You're looking for a fatbike and decide on the KOBRA. Excellent choice! But now you're probably wondering how you'll get it from your laptop or phone to yours. Not a silly question at all! We have the answer.
We offer several options for delivering the KOBRA. We'll briefly explain these below.
Home delivery service (NL)
If you choose this shipping option, we will transfer your order for delivery via a third party. If you order a Fatbike, delivery will be via courier, and the price per Fatbike is €59.95 (including VAT). If you have a smaller order for parts or accessories for your KOBRA Fatbike, delivery will be via PostNL or DHL for €6.95 (including VAT). Both options are available to any address in the Netherlands.
The expected delivery time via these ordering methods is 1–2 business days for PostNL & DHL and 2–5 business days via the courier service.
Personal KOBRA delivery
If you choose personal delivery, one of our colleagues will personally deliver the KOBRA Fatbike to any desired location in the Netherlands. Personal delivery truly means personal. Our colleague will fully explain the Fatbike on-site and walk you through its various functions. This way, you'll know exactly how the Fatbike works and have the opportunity to ask any additional questions. The rate for personal delivery depends on the distance and travel time. The personal rate is shown in the checkout screen. This rate applies to the entire order; if you order multiple Fatbikes, the rate remains the same.
Delivery time is 1–5 business days. We will contact you personally to schedule a delivery appointment.
Pick up ready to drive from a KOBRA dealer
Would you rather pick up your KOBRA yourself from one of our dealers? That's no problem at all. You can find all our dealers via the dealer map on our homepage or by clicking here. See a dealer you'd like to pick up from? Then choose this option. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment so you can pick up your new KOBRA Fatbike at your preferred dealer location. This is usually possible within 1–5 business days!
Pick-up from a KOBRA dealer is free, but only available in conjunction with preparation for the road.
Ready to drive or in a box?
The KOBRA Fatbike can be delivered in two ways: ready to ride or in a box. We explain these two options below.
Deliver ready to drive
This option is the most popular and also the one we recommend. During the preparation process, our specialized KOBRA mechanics ensure your KOBRA is ready to ride. The bike is fully assembled, after which everything is checked and inspected. Components are neatly and properly installed to prevent unnecessary rattling and ensure optimal riding comfort. The preparation process costs €89.95.
Delivery in box
Would you rather assemble the KOBRA yourself with this option? Of course, that's possible too! Choose this delivery method. We'll deliver the KOBRA to your location personally or through one of our shipping partners, neatly boxed. You can then assemble the KOBRA yourself in just a few steps, following the instructions. This will take approximately 60 to 90 minutes. The downside is that the brakes have to be adjusted manually, which can cause brake noise if not done correctly. Therefore, we recommend choosing the ready-to-ride option. Delivery in a box is free.
4. How do I return an order?
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After cancellation, the returned products must be delivered to our designated location within 14 days. You will then be credited for the full purchase price, including shipping costs, within 14 days of receipt. You are responsible for the return shipping costs to our return location. These costs are approximately €7.95 per package for regular packages. Cancellations can be submitted by contacting our customer service. You can also initiate a return and register an already shipped order through our returns portal.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging.
We sell both custom fat bikes and ready-made stock models. For custom fat bikes that are assembled or built according to your specifications, the right of withdrawal may be legally excluded. For ready-made stock models, the statutory right of withdrawal applies. After successful payment, the order is final for custom orders. If you do wish to cancel a custom order, we will charge you for any costs already incurred.
